Country Manager, Europe and Eurasia
Sara Leming is the Country Manager for Europe and Eurasia at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA). In this capacity she is responsible for business development, project preparation and evaluation, and supervision of USTDA activities in the region.
Prior to joining USTDA, Ms. Leming worked at the Bertelsmann Foundation in Washington DC, where she focused her work on diplomatic engagement and transatlantic dialogue between the U.S. and the EU. Prior to that Ms. Leming held positions at the German American Chamber of Commerce in Chicago and the EU Delegation to the United Nations in New York. Ms. Leming also spent over a year living in Brussels, Belgium where she worked at the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies and as an intern for the Foreign Commercial Service at the U.S. Mission to the EU.
Ms. Leming holds a B.A. in Political Science and Leadership Studies from Christopher Newport University and a M.A. in Political Science with a concentration in EU Policy Analysis from James Madison University.
