Director of Policy and Program Management

Mary Sloan is the Director of Policy and Program Management at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), where she oversees the Agency’s regional teams, leads policy development, and manages USTDA’s global portfolio of critical infrastructure activities. She previously served as Deputy Director of Policy & Program Management and as Country Manager for Europe and Eurasia, and was responsible for implementing project preparation activities that catalyzed digital, healthcare, energy, and transportation infrastructure projects.

Prior to joining USTDA, Mary held positions with the U.S. Department of Commerce and FHI360, including overseas assignments in Bangladesh, Algeria, and Morocco supporting U.S. trade, international development, and workforce initiatives. Mary holds a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an M.A. in International Studies from North Carolina State University.
