Country Manager, Sub-Saharan Africa

Danielle Agress is the Country Manager for Southern Africa at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA). In this capacity, she is responsible for business development, project preparation and evaluation, and supervision of USTDA activities in Southern Africa. She is also a member of the agency’s Telecommunications Sector Team.

Before joining USTDA, Ms. Agress worked as a contractor providing research and analytical support to the agency’s Sub-Saharan Africa team. Her previous professional experience includes work in U.S. government, private sector, and trade association settings.

Ms. Agress holds a Master of Arts degree in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and International Politics from George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government.
