Program Coordinator, South Asia

Mr. Bhupinder Kumar is the Program Assistant for the United States Trade and Development Agency India office at the U.S. Embassy, New Delhi. He supports the USTDA Senior Representative and USTDA programs in the South Asia region.

Mr. Kumar also supports the U.S. India Aviation Cooperation Program, U.S.-India Energy Cooperation program, Global Procurement Initiative and USTDA’s Smart Cities Initiative. His job responsibilities include supporting administrative and budgeting activities of the India office, facilitating delegation visits from U.S. Reverse Trade Missions and other USTDA events and programs.

Prior to USTDA, Mr. Kumar worked with the U.S. Foreign Commercial Services, Global Markets as the Secretary to the Minister Counselor for Commercial Affairs and Principal Commercial Officer, U.S. Embassy, New Delhi.

Prior to joining the U.S. Embassy, Mr. Kumar has worked as a Senior Mortgage Associate with Oracle India and as a Mortgage Associate with Bank of America Continuum, India.  Bhupinder has a Master’s of Business in Finance from Pondicherry University and Bachelor of Commerce from Delhi University. He has a Six Sigma Certification.
