Southeast Asia and Pacific Aviation Cooperation Program
Initiative

The Southeast Asia and Pacific Aviation Cooperation Program (ACP) is a public-private partnership that works with aviation stakeholders in Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands to design programs that promote technical, policy and commercial cooperation in civil aviation. ACP is industry led and government supported with cooperation from the U.S. Trade and Development Agency, Federal Aviation Administration, U.S. Department of Transportation, Transportation Security Administration and U.S. Department of Commerce.

The ACP:

  • Provides a cooperative framework for government interaction between Southeast Asian and Pacific Island countries and U.S. government partners
  • Promotes a safe and secure airspace through training on international standards and aviation best practices
  • Enables Southeast Asian and Pacific Island governments and local industry to engage directly with U.S. companies to learn best practices and gain critical aviation expertise

Program activities match the needs of Southeast Asian and Pacific Island countries with the technical innovation of U.S. member companies. Activities include workshops, training, technical assistance, symposia and reverse trade missions.
