Arlington, VA – The U.S. Trade and Development Agency will bring a delegation of energy sector decision makers from Egypt, Jordan and Morocco to the United States to showcase world-class U.S. liquefied natural gas (LNG) technologies that can promote U.S. LNG exports and American energy dominance by supporting the development of priority gas infrastructure in the Middle East and North Africa.
While in the United States from September 19 to 30, the 16-member delegation of public and private energy entity representatives will travel to Washington, DC, where the President’s National Energy Dominance Council will host a U.S. Government Engagement Day at the White House, connecting the delegation with senior officials from relevant federal agencies. The delegation will also travel to Houston, TX, where they will meet U.S. LNG infrastructure companies, see demonstrations of cutting-edge U.S. LNG technologies, and tour an LNG export terminal.
USTDA will host a public business briefing in Houston on September 24, where U.S. companies can hear directly from the delegation about upcoming LNG infrastructure plans and engage one-on-one with delegates to showcase their LNG technology solutions. Egypt, Jordan, and Morocco are expanding their gas industry investments, including LNG imports, pipeline and storage capacity, and new natural gas applications. These investments are creating opportunities for U.S. companies to supply LNG and natural gas products, services and technologies. This directly supports the President’s commitment to American energy dominance, enhancing U.S. economic strength and national security while securing more stable energy supplies for our allies and partners.
