Indo-Pacific Manager
Brandon Megorden serves as an Indo-Pacific Manager for the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), a U.S. government agency that helps to create lasting business partnerships between the United States and emerging market economies. In this role, he is responsible for business development and management of USTDA’s activities in the ICT and smart cities sectors across the Indo-Pacific Region. Mr. Megorden designs, implements, and monitors a multi-million dollar portfolio of ICT grants and contracts. He is an active member of USTDA’s Telecommunications Team and lead for the Agency’s smart cities sector work focused on advancing sustainable and resilient solutions for urban infrastructure challenges.
Mr. Megorden formerly served as USTDA’s Regional Manager for Asia based at the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand where he directed business development across the Asia-Pacific Region. He has also served as a Country Manager with USTDA’s Sub-Sharan Africa Region leading program activities across East and Central Africa. Mr. Megorden began his career at USTDA with the agency’s East Asia portfolio, covering China and Mongolia. Brandon completed graduate study in Chinese and American Affairs at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and Bachelor of Arts in International Political Economy from the College of Idaho.
