About the Indo-Pacific Business Forum
The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) is sponsoring the 5th Indo-Pacific Business Forum (IPBF) in Tokyo, Japan. The hybrid event will give virtual attendees the opportunity to join the plenary sessions with VIP government officials and private sector executives, network with other participants, and engage with government and industry organizations in the virtual exhibit hall.
The IPBF is the premier public-private U.S. government event to promote trade, investment and economic cooperation between the United States and its partners throughout the Indo-Pacific region. The Forum aims to connect U.S. industry to major infrastructure investments and other economic opportunities in the Indo-Pacific region and to share U.S. government tools and programs to support U.S. projects.
The 2023 Forum aims to strengthen Indo-Pacific cooperation on priority sectors, including clean energy, decarbonization, infrastructure investment, digital economy, and supply chains. The agenda will highlight the latest developments impacting key areas of growth, as well as policy recommendations and new opportunities for expanded public-private partnerships.
The event is being held in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and the U.S. Department of State, in cooperation with Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
