Deputy Regional Manager for Asia
Sithisakdi Apichatthanapath (“Seng”) is the Deputy Regional Manager for Asia at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), based in Bangkok, Thailand. There, he is responsible for managing USTDA’s activities in Southeast Asia and the Pacific, directing business development efforts, coordinating with relevant Asian and U.S. government agencies, and marketing USTDA services to potential partners throughout the region.
Prior to this, Sithisakdi worked as Program Development Specialist at USAID Regional Development Mission for Asia (USAID/RDMA) where he was responsible for the planning, managing and reporting of all USAID/RDMA’s energy activities and programs. Sithisakdi has over thirteen years of experience in climate change mitigation, carbon markets and energy policy. He has worked as project developer, consultant, as well as greenhouse gas auditor, and was involved in the validation and certification of over 40 emission reductions projects across the globe.
Sithisakdi holds a BA in International Relations from University of Leeds and an MSc in Energy Economic and Planning from Asian Institute of Technology.
