SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL – Today, the U.S. Trade and Development Agency awarded a grant to Companhia de Transmissão de Energia Elétrica Paulista S.A (ISA CTEEP), an electricity transmission company in the State of São Paulo, supporting the development of a grid automation and cybersecurity implementation plan. 

The technical assistance will deploy the recommended technologies, solutions and protocols for substation protection, control, and monitoring across its country-wide operations in the near-to-medium term.   As the energy sector can often be a target for cyberattacks, the project will also help to secure networks in order to prevent attacks and protect sensitive information.
