Senior Country Representative for Indonesia

Yolanda serves as USTDA’s Senior Country Representative for Indonesia, where she is responsible for identifying and monitoring critical infrastructure projects across the energy, transportation, ICT, agribusiness, and healthcare infrastructure sectors. Prior to joining USTDA, Yolanda gained more than twenty years of rich professional experience, starting her career with the Indonesian Architects Association. She then supported two UNDP and UN Habitat projects, and worked for one of Indonesia’s largest state-owned banks for thirteen years. Following her PhD studies, she worked as a Senior Advisor for Renewable Energy Support Program for ASEAN, which was jointly implemented by GIZ and the ASEAN Centre for Energy. She previously worked as an Economic Specialist for US-ASEAN Connect at the U.S. Mission to ASEAN, located at the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta. In this role, she focused on energy and the U.S. ASEAN Internship Program.

 

Yolanda completed her PhD on “Corporate Sustainability of Private Finance Institutions in the transition to a Low Carbon Economy: cases in Australia and Indonesia” from the UNSW Sydney under an Australian Leadership Award. She has her Master of Science degree of the Bartlett Development Planning Unit, University College London (UCL) under the Chevening scholarship, as well as a Bachelor’s in Engineering from the University of Indonesia.
