Country Representative, Türkiye

Ms. Tuncer serves as USTDA’s Türkiye Country Representative, based in Ankara, Türkiye. In this role, she is responsible for business development and supervision of USTDA activities in the country’s energy, digital, healthcare and transportation sectors.

Prior to her role at USTDA, Ms. Tuncer served for ten years with U.S. Commercial Service Istanbul, where she assisted U.S. ICT companies to enter the Turkish market. Ms. Tuncer was also the local lead of Türkiye’s Marmara Region (business capital) for inbound investment in the U.S. Department of Commerce SelectUSA program. Prior to that role, she worked as a project manager for the Istanbul 2020 Olympic Bid Committee, instrumental in the preparation of marketing activities.

Ms. Tuncer holds an M.A. in International Trade and Commerce from California International University and a marketing certificate from UCLA. She also holds a B.A. from Bilkent University, Türkiye.
