
Country Representative, Türkiye
Ms. Gokce Tuncer serves as the U.S. Trade and Development Agency’s (USTDA) Country Representative in Türkiye, based in Ankara. In this capacity, she leads business development and oversees USTDA’s portfolio across Türkiye’s energy, digital, critical minerals, and transportation sectors—advancing partnerships that foster U.S. company participation in strategically important critical infrastructure development projects.
Prior to joining USTDA, Ms. Tuncer spent a decade with the U.S. Commercial Service in Istanbul, where she supported U.S. companies in entering and expanding within the Turkish information and communications technology market. During that time, she also served as the local lead for Türkiye’s Marmara Region in the U.S. Department of Commerce’s SelectUSA program, driving inbound investment to the United States. Earlier in her career, she contributed to Istanbul’s bid for the 2020 Olympic Games as project manager, playing a key role in marketing and international outreach efforts.
Ms. Tuncer holds an M.A. in International Trade and Commerce from California International University and a marketing certificate from UCLA. She also holds a B.A. from Bilkent University, Türkiye.
