Country Manager, Indo-Pacific
Danielle Agress is a Country Manager for the Indo-Pacific Region at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency. In this capacity, she is responsible for business development, project preparation and evaluation, and supervision of USTDA activities in the region, with a focus on the connectivity sector. She also co-leads the agency’s global Connectivity Sector team.
Ms. Agress previously served as USTDA’s Country Manager for Southern Africa and was responsible for implementing project preparation activities that catalyzed digital, healthcare, energy, transportation, and agribusiness infrastructure projects. Before joining USTDA, Ms. Agress worked as a contractor providing research and analytical support to the agency’s Sub-Saharan Africa team. Her previous professional experience includes work in U.S. government, private sector, and trade association settings.
Ms. Agress holds a Master of Arts degree in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and International Politics from George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government.
