Bedir Memmedli serves as the Director of Finance at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), a U.S. government agency that helps U.S. businesses create jobs through the export of their goods and services for priority development projects in emerging economies. USTDA links U.S. companies to global export opportunities by providing early project preparation assistance that matches U.S. technological expertise with overseas infrastructure development needs – creating lasting business partnerships between the U.S. companies and emerging market economies. Mr. Memmedli oversees and manages the staff responsible for accounting operations and financial reporting.
Mr. Memmedli previously served as the Accounting Supervisor for the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Department of Labor and Senior Accountant for the Office of Chief Financial Officer, Department of Labor.
Prior to joining the Federal Government, Mr. Memmedli served as the financial consultant for the Defense contractor and the auditor for the Office of the State Auditor of North Carolina.
Mr. Memmedli received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Master of Accounting degrees from North Carolina State University.
Mr. Memmedli is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Government Financial Manager.
