WASHINGTON, DC –U.S. Trade and Development Agency Director Leocadia I. Zak will chair the “African Investors: Building Bridges” panel at the Powering Africa Summit tomorrow in Washington, DC. Director Zak and her fellow panelists will discuss how the U.S. and African private sectors are positioning their portfolios to maximize opportunities for development in Africa.
Prior to the discussion, Director Zak will highlight how USTDA and its U.S. government partners are working together to increase opportunities for U.S. companies and to maximize development outcomes for African partners in support of President Obama’s Power Africa initiative. USTDA connects U.S. industry and African project sponsors in order to bring proven private sector solutions to energy challenges in Africa.
