Reverse Trade Mission: Turkey Hospital & Cancer Technology
Date: January 26 - February 6, 2020

USTDA is hosting decision-makers from Turkey’s healthcare sector to connect them to leading U.S. hospital & cancer technologies. With a population of 80 million, Turkey is a growing market for medical technologies and healthcare services. The Turkey Ministry of Health (MoH) is responsible for the construction, management, and medical operations in public hospitals. Private hospital investments are made by private entities. In 2013 the Turkey MoH launched a project to construct 31 large hospital complexes across the country utilizing state-of-the-art technology, such as cancer treatment radiation therapy and advanced medical imaging systems. There is a strong privatization trend in Turkey’s healthcare industry and construction of many private hospitals offers increased sales opportunities for US medical device firms.

The itinerary will include roundtables, focused meetings, hospital visits, visit and meetings with key medical technology, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and health IT firms.
