Business Briefing: Opportunities in Latin American Subsea Cable and ICT Projects

As part of the Latin America Subsea Fiber Optic Cable Reverse Trade Mission, the U.S. Trade and Development Agency is hosting a Business Briefing for U.S. companies on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 9:00 AM at USTDA's Business Center in Arlington, VA. The Briefing will connect U.S. companies with decision-makers from Chile, Argentina and Ecuador. Attending U.S. companies will learn about upcoming subsea cable and other information, communications and technology (ICT) project opportunities in Chile, Argentina, and Ecuador and have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with the participating decision-makers, including representatives from Chile’s Undersecretariat of Telecommunications (Subtel). Areas of interest include cable system design, manufacturing, installation, and regulation as well as the technologies, services, and financing mechanisms to support project development and implementation. Other key areas of interest include 5G technologies, data centers, and cybersecurity technologies.
