USTDA is hosting a delegation of energy decision-makers from Senegal and Mauritania on an LNG Infrastructure Reverse Trade Mission. The itinerary features meetings with U.S. LNG Suppliers, as well as U.S. equipment manufacturers, and technology and services providers supporting midstream and downstream gas infrastructure.

Developing gas infrastructure along the value chain in Senegal and Mauritania represents billions of dollars in investment opportunities. The U.S. Overseas Private Investment Corporation, the U.S. Export-Import Bank, the International Finance Corporation, the Senegalese sovereign wealth fund (Unite de Formulation de Compact, FONSIS), Africa50, the World Bank, and the African Development Bank have all expressed interest in investing in gas infrastructure in the region.

As part of the visit, USTDA will host a Business Briefing  for U.S. companies in Houston on Tuesday, October 2, 2018.

GMC is organizing this visit on behalf of USTDA.  For further information about hosting a meeting or sponsoring an event for this delegation, please contact Olympia Brescia at obrescia@gmc-ideas.com or 1.781.641.2900.
