Date: January 31 - February 1, 2019
India has set a target of producing 40% of its total energy needs through renewable sources by 2030. In order to meet and sustain this goal, India will need to create and implement a robust system for safety, quality and durability standards and specifications to facilitate adoption and efficiency of PV installations, including rooftop installation.
As part of the second phase of the U.S.–India Standards and Conformance Cooperation Program, USTDA is hosting a 2-day workshop focused on standards and conformity assessment framework for photovoltaic (PV) power plants and rooftop installations. The development of this system will help India sustainably meet its renewable energy targets, specifically in the area of solar power, while creating a level playing field for U.S. companies to provide high quality solutions and services to meet these needs.
Registration is required – to save your seat, please visit https://www.ansi.org/meetings_events/events/2018/Workshop-on-Clean-Energy.
The U.S.–India Standards and Conformance Cooperation Program is sponsored by the U.S. Trade and Development Agency and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) in partnership with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
