Brazil Distributed Generation Technologies Reverse Trade Mission

The objective of the Reverse Trade Mission is to familiarize Brazilian representatives from utility companies and public entities with the latest U.S. technologies, suppliers, and best practices in distributed generation. The delegation will meet with U.S. suppliers of equipment and services and visit project sites that utilize distributed generation technologies, including grid integration, energy storage, system controls, data communications, and other relevant technologies. The visit will also include meetings with federal and local officials and financing institutions. The delegation will be comprised of regulators and Brazilian utility decision-makers that represent major project development opportunities.

Business Briefing will be held on Thursday, September 11 in San Francisco, CA. U.S. companies are invited to meet the delegation and learn about upcoming procurement opportunities in Brazil.

This Reverse Trade Mission is part of the Brazil Clean Energy Exchange Program, which is comprised of two visits to the United States. The Water/Wastewater Energy Efficiency RTM was held in May 2014 in Washington, D.C.; Seattle, WA; and San Francisco, CA.
