The U.S. Trade and Development Agency will convene U.S. and North African pharmaceutical and medical device companies, government representatives and multilateral partners for a two-day workshop to develop action-oriented outcomes that advance regulatory harmonization and improve market access for essential medical products in Africa.

Day one will focus on pharmaceuticals, exploring advancements in regulatory systems and the role of digitalization in enhancing communication, efficiency, and governance. Day two will shift to medical devices, featuring live technology demonstrations and discussions on regulatory challenges. The workshop will include B2B and B2G sessions, offering valuable insights into initiatives aimed at strengthening regulatory systems across the region.
