John F. Krotzer is the newest member of the USTDA team, serving as the Country Manager for South Asia since joining the agency in August, 2018. In this role, John develops and manages transportation, energy, and telecommunications projects in India – the world’s fastest growing economy – and neighboring countries.
Prior to joining USTDA, John worked at the U.S. Department of State, where he held positions in economics and public affairs at U.S. missions in Indonesia, India, and China. Previously, he served as Director – Asia Pacific for a major U.S. power transmission manufacturer, and has over 15 years of management experience in the industrial sector, with assignments in China, France, and the United States. He began his career as a volunteer with the MBA Enterprise Corps in Poland, assisting that country’s post-communist economic transformation.
John holds a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH.
