USTDA Launches Bringing the World to #MadeInAmerica

Arlington, Virginia – The U.S. Trade and Development Agency is proud to launch Bringing the World to #MadeinAmerica, which features 30 reverse trade missions connecting overseas decision-makers with U.S. manufacturers and service providers. Delegations from 22 countries will see the design, manufacture and operation of American-made goods and services provided by companies across the United States. The visits will take place at an opportune time as foreign decision-makers face upcoming procurement decisions.

In order to see the most innovative U.S. solutions in the energy, transportation and ICT sectors, USTDA is taking the delegations to 21 states and 100 cities across the United States.  In addition to introducing overseas partners to Made-in-America solutions, the visits will inform U.S. businesses of upcoming projects and export opportunities in emerging markets around the world.

USTDA’s Reverse Trade Mission’s Produce Exports

In 2012, USTDA hosted the Brazil Data Center Technologies Reverse Trade Mission to introduce public and private sector delegates to the latest U.S. data center solutions. The visit promoted U.S. equipment, software, and consulting services related to e-government and the telecommunications sector. To date, more than $68 million in U.S. exports have been reported as a result of this reverse trade mission, benefiting 22 American companies.
