Ukraine Power Plant Modernization Reverse Trade Mission
Dates: December 4-15, 2012
Locations: Pittsburgh, PA; Washington, DC; and Orlando, FL
The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) will bring a group of ten (10) Ukrainian public and private power generation sector officials to the United States for a Reverse Trade Mission (RTM) December 4-15, 2012. Consistent with Ukraine's plans to modernize its thermal power generation fleet, and in particular its coal-fired power plants, the delegates will be touring U.S. power plants in northeast Ohio and central Pennsylvania, visiting the National Energy Technology Lab of the U.S. Dept. of Energy, meeting with other U.S. Government energy sector and financing officials, as well as U.S. vendors of power generation equipment, air pollution control equipment and power engineering services. The delegation will attend the Power-Gen International conference in Orlando, FL.
The RTM activity will feature a Business Briefing for qualified U.S. companies on Tuesday December 11, 2012 in Orlando, FL, including the opportunity for one-on-one meetings.
