China Maritime Operations and Safety Reverse Trade Mission
Dates: November 5-17, 2012
Locations: Washington, DC; New Orleans, LA; Los Angeles, CA
The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) is sponsoring a China Maritime Operations and Safety Reverse Trade Mission (RTM) to bring together Chinese maritime operations stakeholders with U.S. providers of equipment and services solutions for maritime management, emergency response, and environmental protection.
China is making significant investments to improve and modernize its ports and waterway transportation infrastructure to support its growing maritime economy. China is projected to invest over $450 billion on environmental protection, including environmental incident and oil spill response, in the next five years. These investments present a business opportunity for U.S. companies that provide technologies and services to the maritime industry.
The RTM will include a Business Briefing at The Conference Center at the Maritime Institute (CCMIT) in Linthicum, MD on November 8, 2012. Sponsorship opportunities are available to U.S. companies to promote their corporate capabilities and expertise to the delegates.
Newly added: USTDA will host a Webinar for U.S. companies interested in hearing about export opportunities in China's Maritime Operations and Safety sector on Monday, November 5 at 11:30am EST | View Details
